Only a boat trip around this magnificent island to view the natural caves and beautiful scenery, can provide a complete view of Capri. Only in this way you can say that you saw everything! The daily departure is from the Praia beach, along the way to Capri you can admire the beautiful coat of Praiano, Positano, the natural reserve Punta Campanella and the island “Li Galli” famous for housing Ulysses mermaid. Refreshing beverages are served on board. Ounce you have arrived at the Faraglioni, the most scene graphic part of Capri, here we will stop for a relaxing swim in the superb waters of the close by grotta (cave) Verde and the grotta (cave) Bianca. The boat ride around the island will allow you to view the entire coast of Capri; The natural arch, Villa Malaparte, Marina Piccola. A short stop here to view the famous grotto Azzurra (light blue cave), known worldwide and visited every year by thousands of tourists. The cave, characterized by the incredible blue color of the water, was used as a private swimming pool by the roman emperors vacationing on the island. Arrival in Marina Grande is scheduled for 12:00 and allows you free time until 16:00 to view the island. The return trip foresees (time permitting) a quick stop for one last swim along the coast of Tordigliano and Positano.
Departure for the wonderful Amalfi coast. The fiordo of Furore is the first jewel on the coast with it’s small antique fishing houses, recently renovated. The next stop is the famous view from the Grotta dello Smeraldo (entrance apart). Continuing towards Amalfi you can admire Capo di Conca and it’s Muslim tower. An antique guard tower built by the viceroy of Naples, Pedro de Toledo, in the 16th century to defend the territory from the Turks. The marina di Conca became famous in the 60’s and the 70’s for housing many famous people, such as; Gianni Agnelli, Sofia Loren, princess Margaret of England and Jacqueline Kennedy (who in 1961 was coming back from a visit to Ravello, stopped to have a swim). It is here that we stop to take a swim in the splendid waters under the natural arch. Continuing on to Amalfi and the small town of Atrani and at last we make a return.
Transferring from the marina Praia to the Grotta dello Smeraldo and passing by the fiordo di Furore (entry tickets cost extra). Located in the community of Conca dei Marini, the grotto dello Smeraldo was discovered in 1932 by a fisherman named Luigi Buonocore and is named for the emerald color of the water that is illuminated by the sun light that filters in through an undersea rift that connects to the open sea. The inside is 24 meters tall and with the passing of time many stalactites and stalagmites have formed, so have even united to make beautiful natural pillars.
